A fabulous 6’ Victorian wrought iron bench from Oxford, dating back to the  C19th, totally refurbished from the poor state it was in. The ironwork, with scrolled armrests has been stripped, cleaned and painted three coats of Holly Green metal paint, BS14C39. The seating is composed of 40mm x 25mm solid oak slats, recovered from Balliol College Oxford, treated with three coats of Danish oil and fixed with silver, stainless steel carriage bolts. This is a classic, one off antique piece of wrought iron garden art that will look good in any garden and last decades.
