BENCH 124 ORANGERY
£695.00
A late Victorian or probably early Edwardian, delightful 4' cast iron bench. The scrolled armrests with acanthus leaf embellishments and arabesque supports are classic decorative elements in line with the traditional details for that period. It has a carved floral rosette in the centre and the theme continues down to the foliage wrapped feet. We used European Oak hardwood for the seat slats, held down with silver stainless steel bolts and finished with three coats of Osmo water repellant and UV protective oil. It would look great in any garden but the best place for this is in a Victorian hallway, conservatory or orangery. A stunning and very rare example of late C19th cast iron bench architecture.
