A simple, elegant cast iron bench from the early C20th with an arched Gothic style iron back. The cast iron has not been painted but finished with a coat of patination oil to bring out the natural colour of the ironwork. The seating slats and beautiful arched back surround are 20mm thick Sapele hardwood finished with Danish oil and secured with black stainless steel carriage bolts.
