This Edwardian dining set was brought up to Oxford from the Black Mountains in bits and fortunately saved from the scrap heap. There wasn't a lot wrong with it and with a fresh paint job, new 20mm thick Sapele seating slats and stainless steel bolts it has been transformed into a very useful and comfortable place to enjoy your lunch. The ironwork has been painted with three coats of pure white metal paint and the hardwood is finished with three coats of waterproof and UV protective Danish Oil. The seats are sturdy and particularly attractive with their arched headed backs.
