BENCH 100 CAMBRIDGE 2
Another stunning, wrought iron garden bench made in the Boulton & Paul Ltd Foundry in Norwich around June 1897 with rivetted construction. Again in great condition for its age, complete with a patina of rust and old paint. All the rivets are sound as are the metal slats. The curved seats and seat backs are a distinct feature of this 6' bench together with the scrolled armrests and feet.
This slightly larger one can be sold as an almost identical pair with its sister bench, Cambridge 2. Please email us for a quotation. The details of the bench No. 22A are in the Boulton &Paul book 'Catalogue no. 97' produced in 1898 which will be given to the buyer upon purchase of the pair.
This is a truly remarkable piece of garden art, both historically and aesthetically and a great investment for the future.
